High School Diploma, plus a technical/trade school certificate in refrigeration is essential. Familiarity with RETA certification modules and advanced OEM training for equipment service. Must possess an EPA certification and a valid driver’s license. Extensive experience in troubleshooting industrial ammonia and synthetic refrigeration systems. Strong customer service skills and eagerness to expand your expertise in the refrigeration service sector. Ability to travel up to 90% locally using a company vehicle, with occasional material pickups at the service branch. Proficiency in using tablet-based software for completing service tasks and submitting reports. Certifications to operate necessary machinery such as a lull, scissor lift, and forklift. Safety training completed, or willingness to obtain OSHA 10-hour certification, ammonia awareness, and HAZWOPER training. Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and service industrial ammonia and synthetic refrigeration systems. Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on equipment and controls. Use tablet-based software to document service tasks, inspections, and reports. Operate applicable machinery in a safe and compliant manner (lull, scissor lift, forklift). Travel locally up to 90%, with occasional material pickups at the service branch. Adhere to safety policies and participate in required safety trainings (OSHA, ammonia awareness, HAZWOPER).
