CFSP Licensed Manager II, Complex Medical/IDD
Elevance Health is partnering with North Carolina DHHS to run a statewide Medicaid Plan that supports infants, children, youth, young adults, and families served by the child welfare system. Members will receive integrated physical, behavioral, pharmacy, intellectual/demographic disabilities (I/DD) services, long‑term supports, and unmet health‑related resource needs through coordinated care management.
Overview Field‑based manager who drives program development, implementation, and coordination for Complex Medical and/or I/DD within the Foster Care program. Operates virtually from home when not in the field.
Responsibilities
Direct program operations to support corporate and health plan management.
Collaborate with functional managers to develop and implement program steps.
Participate in cross‑functional workgroups to maintain and develop program.
Evaluate program operations to improve efficiency, financial return, customer service, and provider engagement.
Develop, communicate, and monitor program schedule, budget, and resources plan.
Manage resource utilization to ensure appropriate delivery of care to members and adequate coverage for departmental tasks.
Hire, train, coach, counsel, and evaluate performance of direct reports.
Qualifications
Active, current RN, LCSW, LCMHC, or LMFT license issued by North Carolina.
MS/MA in social work, counseling, or related behavioral health field, or a nursing degree.
Minimum 5 years experience working with children, youth, and families served by the child welfare system.
Minimum 3 years management experience of clinical staff serving the children and youth involved with Juvenile Justice and Social Services.
Experience in Complex Medical or I/DD (preferred).
Prior experience improving equitable access to care, quality of care, well‑being, and sustainable health outcomes through prevention‑focused programming (preferred).
Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to child welfare and health care services (preferred).
Excellent organizational and leadership skills (preferred).
Benefits $5,000 sign‑on bonus North Carolina residency required Standard business hours, Monday through Friday 15-20% travel with periodic overnight travel Hybrid workforce: associates required to work at least once per week at an Elevance Health location unless primarily virtual
