Experience Caregivers Wanted – Needham, MA – Long Day Shifts

FirstLight Home Care of West Suburban Boston
as a Per Diem Caregiver. This role offers excellent flexibility and is perfect for caregivers who are passionate about helping others while balancing their own schedules.
Base pay : $20.00 per hour (actual pay based on skills and experience). Per Diem shifts include days, evenings, weekends, and overnights. Opportunities for additional hours based on client needs and availability.
Position Summary
Provide non‑medical, in‑home support and companionship to elderly clients.
Assist with personal care tasks: bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
Offer companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and general household organization.
Provide medication reminders following the care plan.
Accompany clients to appointments or errands (as needed).
Observe and promptly report any changes in condition to the Care Coordinator.
Document care provided clearly and accurately.
What We’re Looking For
At least 6 months of caregiving experience (professional or family care accepted).
A compassionate, dependable, and patient personality.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow individualized care plans.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
CNA/HHA certification a plus, but not required.
Compensation & Schedule
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour.
Schedule: Per diem with flexible shifts—days, evenings, weekends, and overnights.
