Security Officer - Armed Financial Patrolman
Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer – Armed Financial Patrolman in Bridgeport, CT. In this role you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries, such as financial institutions, by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible, deterrent presence.

What You’ll Do
Provide customer service while carrying out security‑related procedures and site policies.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to deter unauthorized access or suspicious behavior.
Report and document any unusual occurrences, incidents, or concerns per Allied Universal protocols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services during incidents.
Maintain a visible presence to deter potential threats and reassure clients and visitors.
Minimum Requirements
Armed guard card or license required.
High school diploma or GED (or equivalent) required by the client.
Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Background investigation required per federal, state, and local laws.
Will be subject to a drug screen as allowed by law.
Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements subject to state and local laws; may be required prior to employment.
Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
