Full‑time – Onsite five days a week.\ \ \ What You Will Do:\ \ \ Produce disassembly and assembly information that improves safety, efficiency, and profitability of dealer service operations.\ \ Use the Caterpillar Authoring (ACM) system to develop and electronically author various service information types for global dealers and customers.\ \ Perform and document the disassembly and assembly of Caterpillar equipment.\ \ Adhere to all safety and contamination‑control processes in the Caterpillar Mechanical Lab.\ \ Conduct detailed research of engineering information and product service requirements.\ \ Collaborate with Product Design/Support Engineers and other corporate resources.\ \ Contribute to product groups to ensure accurate service information for each NPI program.\ \ Photograph equipment or create graphics using 3‑D models for service information.\ \ \ \ Basic Requirements:\ \ \ Associate’s degree OR at least 5 years of experience servicing/repairing heavy equipment (acceptable in lieu of a degree).\ \ Demonstrated customer focus and ability to deliver customized solutions.\ \ Strong service‑excellence knowledge and effective communication skills.\ \ Proven problem‑solving ability and relationship‑management skills.\ \ Experience with service information development and authoring tools.\ \ \ \ Top‑Candidate Advantages:\ \ \ 3+ years servicing heavy equipment, preferably Caterpillar.\ \ Experience with SIS2.0/SIS2GO and Caterpillar authoring/technical writing.\ \ Team‑lead or mentoring experience.\ \ Strong knowledge of Teamcenter Visualization / Creo.\ \ Elevated education (Bachelor’s degree or higher) or Caterpillar Think Big/Bigger graduate.\ \ \ \ Compensation:\
