The 288‑suite Embassy Suites Alexandria Old Town offers a relaxed dining area in the Atrium Lounge that serves flatbreads, pizzas, sandwiches, salads and more. Guests can also dine via In‑Room Dining. The hotel also houses 11,052 square feet of meeting space.

This position reports to the Executive Chef & B and supervises up to 10 front‑ and back‑of‑house team members per shift. It is a hands‑on leadership role with most time spent on the floor interfacing with guests and team members.

Ideal candidates possess at least one year of food and beverage leadership experience in a hospitality setting, with a focus on building a strong team culture.

What Will I Be Doing? As Food & Beverage Manager, you will direct and organize activities of the Food & Beverage outlets to maintain high standards of food, beverage quality, service, and marketing, while maximizing profits through outstanding customer service. Key responsibilities include:

Directing and organizing the activities of the Food & Beverage department to maintain high standards of quality, service, and marketing.

Planning and directing the administration and daily operations of the department.

Implementing effective controls of food, beverage, and labor costs.

Ensuring compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol‑awareness standards.

Interviews, training, supervising, counseling, scheduling, and evaluating staff.
