Key Responsibilities Essential Functions:
Participate and contribute in Health & Safety, Security and Environmental activities (SAFE meetings, BBS observer, HS&E training, Near Miss & AIRI reporting, Auditing, Housekeeping, 5S, Recycling, Waste Management, etc.). Also manage regulatory shipping requirements such as DOT, DHS, TSCA and CT-PAT. 15% Percent Of Time
Responsible for operational procedures – activities such as verification of incoming & outgoing shipments, identification & disposition of returned material, damaged material or obsolete material (including waste management in the accumulation area). 35% Percent Of Time
Keep and manage warehouse inventory appropriately 20% Percent Of Time
Perform all needed weekly cycle counts according to the schedule and provide results to the Warehouse Supervisor & conduct physical inventory for finished goods 20% Percent Of Time
Interface with COS, Production and Demand management to ensure proper support of sales activities to facilitate customer satisfaction 10% Percent Of Time
Job Requirements General requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
2 years dock receiving and shipping experience in a 700 SKU environment
Ability to read, analyze and interpret contractual issues, technical procedures or government regulations
Ability to understand reports, business correspondence and procedures
Ability to effectively organize and present information and respond appropriately to questions from employees, managers and customers
Computer literate
Ability to utilize Excel to organize and analyze data
Forklift certified
Ability to use Microsoft email to communicate in a professional manner
