Pay range: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00

What You’ll Do The Maintenance Inventory Specialist is responsible for optimizing maintenance schedules, ensuring equipment reliability, and minimizing operational downtime through efficient inventory and contractor management. The Inventory Specialist is responsible for overseeing inventory control, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring data accuracy to support operational and financial goals. This position requires strong attention to detail, organization, and problem‑solving skills. This position will report directly to the Plant Manager and work with various departments.

Supports and maintains the Maintenance MP2 work order system

Ensures that maintenance supplies and parts are purchased at the lowest price while ensuring quality and timeliness of delivery

Maintains stores inventory to prescribed levels and is maintained in a neat and orderly fashion

Estimates projects and repairs with multiple quotes and provide to Plant Manager for approval

Maintains current records and inventory on all machinery, motors, parts, repairs made, specs, etc.

Assists in the planning of scheduled maintenance and ensures that all parts, equipment and materials are on‑site, when required

Works with vendor/suppliers to try to improve delivery dates

Identifies and track critical spares inventory and implement inventory control strategyWill service as back up Maintenance Manager as needed

What You’ll Need To be successful in this position, you must:

Possess an associate’s degree or technical training in logistics, supply chain, or industrial maintenance

Have a minimum of 3 years of management experience preferred

Have previous experience in inventory control, maintenance storeroom, or manufacturing environment

Be experienced in using inventory management systems, CMMS, or ERP software

Be detail oriented, have excellent interpersonal skills, computer skills, and the ability to lead team members

Have a strong commitment to safety and work in a highly organized manner
