Description
Production Assembler – CNC Router Thermcraft, located in Winston-Salem, NC Thermcraft is looking for a Production Assembler with prior CNC router experience and is eager to grow their skills and gain hands‑on experience with a variety of machinery, equipment, and manufacturing processes. In this role, you’ll work alongside skilled team members and support multiple areas of the production floor to help projects move efficiently from start to finish.

Essential Functions
Prepare and maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
Assist as an apprentice/assistant in various departments across the production floor.
Support team projects and contribute to overall production goals.
Work flexibly in different areas of the plant based on production needs.
Use general hand tools, including drills, screwdrivers, cutting tools, and table saws.
Accurately read and use measuring tools such as tape measures, micrometers, and calipers.
Follow all quality and safety rules, ensuring compliance with company standards.
Operate CNC router equipment.
Uphold and adhere to Thermcraft’s core values in daily work.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED.
Experience operating a CNC router or similar CNC equipment is preferred
Ability to accurately read a tape measure to 1/16th.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics is a plus (willing to train).
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work well in a production environment.
Willingness to learn additional skills and cross-train in other departments.
Willing to be trained and certified on a forklift.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety.
Reliable attendance and commitment to company policies and procedures.
Physical Requirements
Sit, stand, bend, and climb ladders daily
Lift at least 50 pounds infrequently
Ability to wear a dust mask or breathing respirator while performing some job tasks.
