Warehouse Associate – Receiving Responsibilities Receiving Operations
Unload incoming shipments and inspect for damage or discrepancies
Match incoming products to packing slips or purchase orders
Accurately label and stock materials in proper warehouse locations
Notify supervisor of any shortages, overages, or product issues
Maintain receiving records and ensure timely updates in inventory system
Team Collaboration
Communicate effectively with warehouse leads, purchasing, and sales teams
Report delivery delays or receiving issues to appropriate supervisor
Cooperate with team members to support inventory flow and accuracy
Follow direction to maintain pace and consistency in daily tasks
General Warehouse Support
Keep receiving and storage areas clean, organized, and hazard‑free
Assist with inventory counts and product rotation as needed
Follow all company safety procedures and use equipment responsibly
Qualifications Required
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
1+ year of experience in warehouse or physical labor role
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
Basic computer and scanning tool proficiency
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
Preferred
Previous experience in plumbing, irrigation, or related warehouse environments
Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems
Experience using pallet jacks, forklifts, or similar equipment
Ability to multitask and stay organized during high‑volume periods
Dependable, team‑focused work style
