As an
Assembly Salvage
employee with John Deere in Springfield, MO, you will:
Perform disassembly of engines & accessories, drivetrain & hydraulics, water/oil pumps or fuel pumps in a production environment focused on safety, quality, and teamwork.
Job details are dependent on duties assigned but in general consist of the following:
Responsibilities
Communicate with Team Leader and Supervisor to prioritize production of units.
Drain oil, fuel and remove all parts, bolts and plugs.
Clean and blast fuel pumps as necessary.
Move disassembled components to the next process.
Stamp identifying numbers on all major engine components and record in daily log.
Disassemble units according to B.O.M. and O.M.S. processes.
Move units through the process from station to station completing paperwork, AMES and SAP transactions as required.
Assist and support other team members.
Clean work area and perform other miscellaneous duties inherent to the job.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have at least one of the following:
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC)
At least 3 years of manufacturing work experience.
Ability to perform manual tasks related to described job duties for duration of work shift – with or without reasonable accommodation, including but not limited to frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing of repetitive actions.
Ability and willingness to work any shift and potential overtime (including weekends).
