Parts Cleaner
As a Parts Cleaner with John Deere Reman in Springfield, MO, you will clean, inspect, and sort parts from the disassembly operation in a production environment focused on safety, quality, and teamwork.
Responsibilities
Communicate with Team Leader and Supervisor to prioritize production of units.
Communicate quality issues to the Quality department and follow quality hold procedures.
Move units through the process from station to station completing paperwork, SAP, and AMES transactions as required.
Operate spin blaster, tumbler, typhoon, zinc blaster, and media blast cabinets.
Perform material handling and inspection of parts to determine if they meet specifications.
May require some use of precision measuring equipment.
Identify and tag parts for engine line kanbans or returns to the warehouse.
Regular attendance is an essential function to perform this job.
Assist and support other team members.
Clean work area and perform other miscellaneous duties inherent to the job.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have at least one of the following:
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC)
At least 3 years of manufacturing work experience
Ability to perform manual tasks related to described job duties for duration of work shift – with or without reasonable accommodation; including but not limited to frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing of repetitive actions.
Ability and willingness to work any shift and potential overtime (including weekends).
