$48,000 - $79,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Perform welding operations using various techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) on different materials (steel, aluminum, stainless steel).
Interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and other technical specifications to determine the appropriate welding process.
Inspect finished welds for quality, defects, and adherence to specifications using measuring instruments.
Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, grinding, cleaning, and fitting components.
Operate and maintain welding equipment, tools, and personal protective equipment (PPE) in a safe and efficient manner.
Ensure all welding activities comply with safety regulations, quality standards, and production schedules.
Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues with welding equipment or processes.
Recommended Qualifications
Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in manufacturing welding environments.
Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding processes on various materials (e.g., steel, stainless steel, aluminum).
Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
Current AWS certification (e.g., D1.1, D1.2) or equivalent demonstrable welding qualifications.
Strong understanding and adherence to safety protocols and quality standards in a production setting.
Bonus Qualifications
TIG welding experience
Ability to read complex blueprints and schematics
Experience with fabrication tools and techniques (cutting, grinding, fitting)
Forklift or overhead crane certification
