The Basics
Location:
Cherryvale, KS
Compensation:
$25/hr and up
Days/Hours:
Wed 12:30am to 6:30am and Thurs, Fri, Sat 6:30pm to 6:30am. All holidays that fall on scheduled work days are worked with holiday pay on top of hourly pay.

Various diagnostic, repair and install tools

What You’ll Be Doing
Take responsibility for safe work behavior
Properly maintain work areas and company issued property
Performing preventative maintenance tasks per CMMS
Prioritize tasks with the supervisor
Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment
Recommend changes, modifications, or upgrades of equipment to improve machine reliability and performance
Removal and installation of motors, blowers, and various equipment
Termination of wire at components
Troubleshooting of 480‑volt 3‑phase electrical distribution systems
Troubleshooting of control systems
Upgrading of outdated systems and components
Capable of effectively communicating with program/software providers to troubleshoot electronics and automation
Requirements To Be Successful In This Position
High school diploma or GED
Experience in a processing plant, refinery, mill, or elevator is preferred
Reliable transportation
For safety reasons, must be able to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English
Available to work overtime and weekends
Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications)
Able to pass a criminal background check
Physical Requirements
This job can be physically strenuous
Expected to work in tight and confined spaces
Will work at heights
Must be able to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally more
Must be able to ascend/descend ladders
Required to wear PPE
