Soybean Processing Plant - Shipping and Receiving Operator - Night Shift

Location & Compensation Location: Cherryvale, KS Pay: $22/hr and up
Schedule 12‑hour night shift, 6:30 pm – 7:00 am. Two‑week repeating schedule: Mon, Tues, Wed, Sat the first week; Sun, Thu, Fri the next week.
Equipment & Materials Equipment: Various grain handling equipment, mainly conveyors and legs. Material: Soybeans, soybean meal, soybean oil.

Responsibilities
Receive, store, handle, dry, blend, and transfer soybeans, soybean meal, and oil.
Monitor stored grain condition.
Load out soybean meal and oil.
Maintain and clean receiving and loadout facilities and equipment to ensure a safe environment.
Cross‑train to perform a variety of tasks as a Shipping and Receiving Operator.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED.
Preferred experience in a processing plant, refinery, mill, or elevator.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to read, write, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
Availability to work overtime and weekends.
Professional demeanor with focus on safety, quality, cleanliness, and communication.
Able to pass a criminal background check.
Physical Requirements
Job is physically strenuous.
Work required in tight and confined spaces.
Work at heights, with ladders, and frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs or more.
Required to wear PPE.
