The Basics Of This Position The Enrollment Services Counselor I is the primary point of contact for current and prospective students, providing comprehensive support throughout the enrollment and registration process—admissions, placement testing, financial aid, advising, and class registration—while utilizing systems like CRM Recruit and Banner.
What You'll Do
Provide guidance to prospective and current students and families on admissions, student aid, and enrollment services through various communication channels.
Assist students with the application process, including admissions applications, transcript and residency requirements, and financial aid applications.
Conduct student need analysis, perform federal verifications, and package student aid—certifying federal loan eligibility.
Maintain and update student account information, monitoring and investigating discrepancies.
Serve as a point of contact for students, handling registration changes, minimal advising, and other enrollment‑related inquiries.
Utilize and manage relevant software systems, such as Banner, for student information and document management.
Assist with purchasing requisitions, maintain purchase orders, and review budget availability.
Additional duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, and Other Requirements
High school diploma with 3–5 years of related experience.
NASFAA verification credential within the second year of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree in a related field with a minimum of two (2) years of experience.
