Job Summary

A pediatric outpatient practice is seeking an experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality medical care to patients from infancy through young adulthood (under 21 years of age). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric primary care, including well‑child visits, sick visits, physical exams, and the management of both acute and chronic conditions. This role emphasizes compassionate, family‑centered care in a collaborative clinical environment.

Job Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including well‑child visits, sick visits, school and sports physicals

Diagnose and treat acute illnesses (e.g., cough, flu, infections) and manage chronic conditions such as asthma and diabetes

Prescribe medications and order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests

Provide preventive care, including immunizations, developmental screenings, and anticipatory guidance

Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment plans

Document all patient encounters accurately in the EMR system (AdvancedMD) within 48 hours of each visit

Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity and quality of care

Qualifications

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a pediatric clinical setting

Active and unrestricted license to practice in the state of Georgia

Strong clinical knowledge of pediatric acute and chronic care management

Experience with EMR systems; AdvancedMD experience preferred

Bilingual skills are a plus

Excellent communication, organizational, and patient‑care skills

About The Company

This pediatric outpatient practice is opening a new facility in Stonecrest, GA, with an anticipated opening timeframe of mid to late January. The clinic is dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive care to infants, children, and adolescents, including well‑child visits, immunizations, sick care, sports physicals, chronic condition management, and preventive services. The practice operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, offering flexible scheduling to support work‑life balance.
