Job Summary
The Lobby Ambassador/Bellperson at the Sheraton Palo Alto is responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a seamless arrival and departure experience for all hotel guests. This is a full‑time, hourly position that will require the individual to work in both the lobby and baggage areas. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role and possess excellent communication and problem‑solving skills. Compensation and Benefits
This position offers an hourly rate of $22 per hour, paid biweekly. Full‑time employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and opportunities for career advancement within the company. Responsibilities
Greet guests upon arrival and assist with luggage transportation Escort guests to their rooms and explain hotel amenities, services, and policies Provide recommendations and directions for local attractions, restaurants, and transportation options Handle guest requests and complaints in a prompt and professional manner Maintain a clean and organized lobby and baggage area Assist with valet parking and managing guest vessels Coordinate with front desk and concierge to ensure efficient and smooth guest check‑in and check‑out Monitor and report any maintenance or safety issues in the lobby and baggage areas Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 1‑2 years of previous hospitality or customer service experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Knowledge of local area and attractions preferred A positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment EEOC Statement
