Your Responsibilities as a Commercial Door Installer As a Commercial Garage Door Installer, you’ll be responsible for repairing, installing, and servicing garage door systems on‑site at customer locations.
Diagnose and Repair
– Service and repair commercial and residential garage doors, operators, rolling steel doors, sectional doors, springs, and hardware.
Install New Equipment
– Install new doors, operators, and commercial‑grade systems safely and efficiently.
Educate the Customer
– Clearly explain repair options, preventative solutions, and completed work.
Sell Services, Repairs, and New Equipment
– Use our proven good/better/best model to present solutions and collect payment.
Manage Inventory
– Maintain tools, parts, and inventory in your company vehicle.

Basic Position Requirements
Required: Prior commercial garage door experience
Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills
Ability to lift 50 pounds independently
Ability to bend, climb, kneel, and stand for extended periods
Ability to work in heat, cold, and non–climate‑controlled environments
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and follow established processes
