Physical Therapists (PT)
to join our rehabilitation team. Whether you’re treating post‑surgical patients, those recovering from injuries, or those managing chronic conditions, you’ll play a key role in improving mobility and quality of life.
Pay Rate:
$49.71 per hour.
Position Type:
PRN. Work independently with minimal supervision while providing high‑quality physical therapy services to patients, caregivers, and facilities in accordance with SPRHC policies and procedures. Maintain a positive level of interaction with facilities and clients.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Physical Therapy accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). At least two years of previous work experience as a Physical Therapist is required.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Completes screening process of all patients.
Evaluates and treats all patients who could benefit from intervention as referred by an approved referral source.
Appropriately documents progress toward identified physical therapy objectives.
Communicates patient status and needs to the patient, patient’s family, relevant staff members, and other professionals included in the care plan of the patient.
Actively integrates therapist’s role into patient care team.
Provides education, guidance and support of other health care professionals and the general community about physical therapy.
Make appropriate referrals to other members of the rehabilitative team.
Develops and implements new programs/techniques to enhance physical therapy services and facility utilization.
Adheres to established facility policies and procedures related to environmental safety, orderliness, risk management, infection control and emergency situations.
Maintains awareness of issues related to the profession of physical therapy and the healthcare environment.
Performs other functions as required to fulfill the expectations of the Physical Therapist role.
