Description The Clinical Partner (CP) provides basic technical nursing skills and delegated tasks (e.g., wound care, discontinuing a saline lock, discontinuing a Foley catheter) under the direction and/or supervision of the registered nurse in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act, Florida Statutes and BHSF policy. The CP is a valued member of the nursing team who works in close collaboration with the assigned RN to provide safe and quality patient‑centered care. Tasks that require assessment and evaluation of interventions remain the responsibility of the RN.
Responsibilities
Perform basic technical nursing tasks as directed by an RN.
Assist with wound care, catheter management, and other delegated activities.
Collaborate with the RN to ensure patient safety and quality care.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Basic Life Support certification.
Certified Nursing Assistant credential.
Licensed Practical Nurse (preferred).
Minimum of 2 years of experience (preferred: prior experience as a CNA or LPN in acute care in Florida).
Minimum Required Experience: 2 Years.
