The Wound Care Provider (MD/DO) reports to the CMO and supervises Nurses & Medical Assistants.
Responsibilities
Provides specialized wound care in home, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities, including assessments, care planning, and patient education.
Works independently in the field, managing complex wounds and collaborating with healthcare teams.
Key duties include wound assessment, treatment, supervision of staff, documentation, and adherence to safety protocols.
Qualifications
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, valid licensure, and at least 2 years of clinical experience.
Wound care certification within 6 months.
Physically able to perform site visits, lift patients, travel within the region, with reliable transportation.
This position requires strong assessment skills, adaptability, excellent communication, and the ability to work in varied environments to deliver quality wound care.
Compensation & Benefits
