Senior Healthcare Associate at Pride Health Pride Health is hiring a Entry Level Phlebotomist our client’s medical facility based in Tallahassee, FL 32308.
This is a 6 months assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Job Name: Entry Level Phlebotomist
Duration: 06+ months Contract (Possibilities of extension)
Shift: Mon-Friday 5:30a-2:30p est and Every 3rd Saturday 8am-12p est
Payrate: $17.75/hr. on w2/Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.
Job Requirements:
Ability to handle patients with care and compassion while assisting with check ins in the lobby through either a self-service kiosk or handheld tablet
Be willing to learn Phlebotomy skills when there is downtime or breaks that need to be covered
Once Phlebotomy skills are obtained, to perform with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
HIGH LEVEL OF CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE/SKILLS ARE REQUIRED - this is critical to the heart of the role
Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED
Work Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of client facing customer service REQUIRED (Retail, Home Health Aide, etc).
Prior Phlebotomy experience is NOT required
Keyboard / data entry experience a must.
This is a "Front of House" role that will also train the candidate on Phlebotomy skills. If your candidate is not willing to learn/perform Phlebotomy, do not submit them
