Cadence Physical Therapy & Coaching is seeking a passionate and highly skilled Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) to join our cash-based, performance-focused clinic in Hillsborough, NJ. This is an opportunity for a PT to leverage their clinical expertise alongside their lived experience in the sport of running. You will provide 1:1, 60-minute patient-centric care, focusing on intelligent loading, biomechanical insight, and deliberate manual therapy to guide goal-driven athletes and active adults toward peak performance and career-long consistency. Key Responsibilities
Provide exceptional, personalized 1:1 Physical Therapy services in 60-minute sessions.
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans with a strong emphasis on strength, intelligent loading, and return-to-sport metrics.
Expertly utilize manual therapy techniques (manipulation, mobilization, myofascial release, etc.) to optimize tissue health and mechanical efficiency.
Clearly and confidently communicate injury risk, performance principles, and the rationale behind every intervention.
Maintain concise, focused documentation via our current EMR, WebPT.
Act as an ambassador for the Cadence brand, integrating injury prevention with performance training.
Qualifications Required Qualifications
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist licensure in the state of New Jersey.
5+ years of personal experience in the sport of running (consistent participation and understanding of training cycles).
Must be manual-therapy certified and comfortable performing hands-on treatment.
Comfortable operating a point-of-sale system for session/package sales and transactions in a cash-based environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Running background (collegiate, marathon, triathlon, road/trail running, etc.).
Post-doctoral manual therapy certification (COMT, FAAOMPT, etc.) or advanced training (Dry Needling, Graston/IASTM).
Experience in sports performance coaching (RRCA, USATF, UESCA, etc.).
