Overview
Join Wild Beet’s new midtown location as a Restaurant Crew Member. In this role, you could be handling food prep, making salads and sandwiches, chopping salads, interacting with guests, operating POS systems, and maintaining cleanliness standards. This is a very fast pace and team-oriented workplace. You will find yourself doing a little bit of everything.
Responsibilities
Prepare food items efficiently and according to safety and quality standards
Operate POS systems to process transactions accurately and quickly
Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items
Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and ensuring proper sanitation throughout the restaurant
Follow food safety protocols, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
Assist in food preparation tasks in the kitchen or café area, supporting overall restaurant operations during busy periods.
Requirements
Previous experience in food service, quick service & fast food restaurants is preferred but not required.
Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during peak hours.
Positive attitude.
Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, lift moderate weights, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Hours We are hiring for multiple positions and shifts. The restaurant hours will be 10am-7pm Monday-Saturday.
Our main two shifts are: 9:45am-3:30pm and 3:30pm-7:30pm. We can be flexible with these.
Specifically looking for an evening and weekend dishwasher – hours would likely be 4:00pm-7:30pm Monday-Friday and Saturday 10:30am-7:30pm.
We are anticipating opening the store sometime the week of January 12th. TBD.
