Associate Attorney

Responsibilities
Draft and review legal documents, including wills, trusts, pleadings, and correspondence
Conduct client consultations and maintain ongoing communication (in person, phone, Zoom, email)
Manage a caseload of probate, trust administration, estate planning, and real estate matters
Communicate effectively with clients, court staff, judicial assistants, and other professionals
Perform legal research, attend hearings, and track/enter time accurately
Work collaboratively with paralegals and support staff to ensure files are organized and maintained
Support the Firm’s presence through community involvement and professional networking
Qualifications
Licensed to practice law in the State of Florida
2–5 years of experience preferred , but we are also open to training a newly licensed attorney who is eager to learn and grow with our firm
Experience or interest in one or more of the following practice areas: Real Estate Transactions, Estate Planning (Wills & Trusts), Probate & Trust Administration
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable with deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe PDF; familiarity with case management software (PracticePanther or similar) is a plus
Professional, ethical, and client-focused approach to practice
(Bonus points if you know who “Rohan” is!)
Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree required from an accredited law school
Member in good standing and actively involved with the ABA (American Bar Association)
Solid communication skills and problem-solving skills required in order to work with clients, staff members and senior attorneys
Successful completion of the bar exam
Compensation $75,000 - $95,000
