Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts and components.
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining operations.
Select appropriate tools and materials for each job based on specifications and material properties.
Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure machines are operating efficiently.
Conduct quality inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
Adjust machine settings to optimize production efficiency and maintain product quality.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines, tools, or programming as they arise.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards and protocols.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and reduce production times.
Document production activities and maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
Stay updated with advancements in CNC machining technologies and techniques.
Job Requirements
Feature CAM or other CAM/CAD software preferred
Looking for a long-term opportunity
Has tooling and measuring devices
Serious candidates will be considered for outside training
Good attitude and able to work within a team environment
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
Skilled in selecting and installing cutting tools and attachments
Willing to work overtime and Saturdays if needed
