Job Title: Machine Operator We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to manage and perform basic setup and maintenance of production machinery. You will be responsible for observing machine operations and detecting workpiece defects using micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Additionally, you will read blueprints or job orders to determine product specifications and ensure cleanliness in the work area.

Responsibilities

Operate and perform basic setup and maintenance of production machinery.

Read blueprints or job orders to determine product specifications.

Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in the work area.

Essential Skills

1+ year of machine operation experience in manufacturing.

1+ year of quality inspection experience with micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

Ability to read blueprints and job orders.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with press operation, utility operation, and punch press.

Familiarity with press brakes, unloading, and forklifts.

Work Environment Work in a large industrial facility with machines that produce large and long railroad equipment. The environment can be very hot in the summer and cold in the winter, and involves standing for shifts and lifting heavy items. You will be operating large CNC machines.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of CLEVELAND, OH.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.50/hr.
