Key Functions
Cleaning, milling and maintaining guides for the gang, rob and band mill.
Cleaning, milling and maintaining knives.
Handling and maneuvering saws, both round and band.
Changing band and gang saws.
Centering machines within a 0.001 tolerance.
Pouring Babbitt.
Assisting saw filers as needed.
Cleaning and maintaining work area.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Demonstrated leadership in safety processes and a strong commitment to safety values.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Basic understanding of planned/preventive maintenance processes.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to effectively team with others while implementing process changes in a rapid‑pace work environment.
Produce quality work product and capacity to adapt to/learn new technology.
Basic computer skills.
Resume detailing education and experience required for consideration.
