Responsibilities
Configure and optimize CMMS (Maximo), RPA workflows, and BI dashboards for MEP asset management.
Inspect HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, and fire‑protection systems; document issues and recommend corrective actions.
Partner with MEP craftsmen to plan, execute, and verify maintenance tasks aligned with mission objectives.
Develop and maintain job plans, CAD/Revit drawings, and technical specifications for MEP repairs and upgrades.
Lead reliability initiatives – RCA, PM optimization, condition monitoring, ISO 55000‑based asset analysis, and project prioritization.
Mentor technicians, enforce USAFA/OSHA safety standards, and coordinate cross‑functional teams.
Qualifications
Minimum 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience as an engineering technician in mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems maintenance, reliability, and asset management.
Associate degree in Civil, Structural Engineering Technology, or related field; or equivalent military technical training (required).
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Facilities Engineering Technology, or related field (preferred).
Proficiency with CMMS tools (IBM Maximo or equivalent), RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath), BI solutions, and IoT sensor technologies.
Skilled in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar CAD software; strong grasp of MEP design principles and applicable building codes.
Demonstrated ability to perform RCA, PM optimization, and data‑driven asset performance analysis.
Proven leadership: mentoring junior staff, coordinating federated teams, and communicating technical results to stakeholders.
NICET certification or equivalent engineering technician credential is a plus.
Physical Requirements
May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time.
Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, walking, standing or sitting for several hours, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs.
Must have perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods.
Requirements
A valid state driver’s license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance.
Access to a federal military installation requires a REAL ID‑compliant driver’s license or an acceptable alternative, such as a U.S. passport or military ID.
Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access; background check and E‑Verify will be conducted.
