We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated
Junior Fixed Assets Analyst
to join our Finance team. This role will support the management, verification, and reporting of fixed assets, ensuring accurate capitalization, depreciation, and disposal processes in compliance with company policies and accounting standards. The ideal candidate is Excel-savvy, deadline-driven, and eager to grow within a collaborative accounting environment. This position is open due to a recent departure and is an
immediate need . The hiring manager is actively reviewing resumes. Key Responsibilities
Assist with recording and tracking fixed asset acquisitions, transfers, and disposals Support monthly and quarterly close activities related to fixed assets, including depreciation runs and reconciliations Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the fixed asset subledger Perform manual journal entries, accruals, and reclassifications Conduct physical asset verification and tagging to ensure asset integrity and compliance Collaborate with project owners and finance teams to ensure timely and accurate capitalization Prepare documentation and support internal and external audit requests Assist with compliance to internal controls and corporate accounting policies Participate in system enhancements and process improvements related to fixed asset accounting Generate reports and basic analyses for management review Handle high-volume Excel-based tasks and ERP postings as part of daily operations Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 1–2 years of accounting or finance experience (internships welcome) Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP preferred) Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
(basic formulas, filters, sorting, reconciliations required) Attention to detail with strong organizational skills Preferred Qualifications
Experience or exposure to fixed assets accounting ERP experience in
SAP preferred ; Oracle, NetSuite, or similar systems also acceptable Familiarity with journal entries and reconciliations Ability to manage deadlines and maintain a sense of urgency Clear written and verbal communication skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a small team environment
