About the role: As the Concierge, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of customer service are met by ensuring accurate and tailored information is provided to guests about the facilities at Park Hyatt Melbourne, of Melbourne and surrounding areas, in-house functions, transportation and leisure activities.

Responsibilities:

To ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Concierge Desk on a day to day basis.

To be fully conversant with all services, facilities and functions within the hotel.

Building relationships with regular guests, long stay guess and VIP guests

To handle guest enquiries and requests and to have a thorough and up to date knowledge of Melbourne city, entertainment, attractions, activities, dining and its surrounding areas.

Assist with Concierge’s administration functions

Qualifications Previous work experience in a similar fast-paced hotel operations environment

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills along with the confident ability to interact with guests via telephone, email and in person.

Excellent knowledge of Melbourne and its city, entertainment, attractions, activities, dining and its surrounding areas

The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

An ability to create a positive first impression with an understanding of the importance of 5 star grooming standards

The flexibility to work on a rotating 24/7 roster, including public holidays
