**Radiology Aide**
**A Brief Overview**
The Radiology Aide assists daily with maintaining the appropriate level of department flow.
**What you will do*** Performs the input of OP physician orders into Diagnostic Imaging’s ITS module.* Prints films and CDs needed by patients to further their medical care.* Answers and routes phone calls.* Assists transporting patients to and from the Diagnostic Imaging Department as needed.* Performs accurate documentation of patient medical records.
**Education Qualifications*** High School Diploma or equivalent
**Experience Qualifications*** Previous medical experience preferred. Moderate computer skills necessary.
**Skills and Abilities*** Computer, reading, writing, organizational, and communication skills* General safety skill.* Previous direct patient care skills Preferred.
**Licenses and Certifications*** Basic Life Support Certified - American Heart Association is required within 30 days of hire. Recertification every two years is Required
