A Brief Overview The Radiology Aide assists daily with maintaining the appropriate level of department flow.
What You Will Do
Performs the input of OP physician orders into Diagnostic Imaging’s ITS module.
Prints films and CDs needed by patients to further their medical care.
Answers and routes phone calls.
Assists transporting patients to and from the Diagnostic Imaging Department as needed.
Performs accurate documentation of patient medical records.
Education Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience Qualifications
Previous medical experience preferred. Moderate computer skills necessary.
Skills And Abilities
Computer, reading, writing, organizational, and communication skills
General safety skill.
Previous direct patient care skills Preferred.
Licenses and Certifications
Basic Life Support Certified - American Heart Association is required within 30 days of hire. Recertification every two years is required.
