Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and patient-centered
Part-Time Dental Hygienist
to join our Fairless Hills team for
2 days per week . With a strong and loyal patient base, our office continues to grow—and we’re looking for talented Hygienists who want to be part of a supportive, collaborative clinical team.
This position is open to both
experienced Hygienists and recent graduates .
Responsibilities Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide exceptional, compassionate patient care
Take, develop, and evaluate dental X-rays
Assess patients’ oral health conditions and report findings to the dentist
Document patient care and treatment plans thoroughly
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and home-care techniques
Maintain a clean, sterile, and compliant operatory
Perform miscellaneous duties as needed
Qualifications
Active Dental Hygiene License (Required)
Local Anesthesia Certification (Preferred but not required)
Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care
Knowledge & Skills
Ability to clearly communicate clinical information to patients and dental professionals
Strong attention to detail, organization, and patient rapport
Physical/Mental Demands and Work Environment The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and use hands and arms to operate general office equipment (PC, telephone, file cabinets, copier, fax machine and printer). The employee may occasionally lift and/or move between 10 and 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. The employee may need to travel to healthcare practices.
