Position Summary
This full-time, on-site Process Engineer role is responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, improving product quality, and leading continuous improvement initiatives to increase production efficiency, consistency, and safety.
Job Description The Process Engineer will monitor and analyze production parameters, troubleshoot process and equipment issues, support new product development, and maintain detailed process and quality records. This role works closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to improve throughput, reduce defects, and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Monitor and optimize production process parameters to improve efficiency and product quality
Troubleshoot process and equipment issues and implement corrective actions
Support new product development through trials, testing, and manufacturability review
Document and analyze process data, quality metrics, and performance trends
Lead or support continuous improvement, Lean, and process safety initiatives
Key Skills
Process optimization & troubleshooting
Data analysis & SPC
Lean / Continuous Improvement methodologies
Education & Other Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably extrusion)
Preferred: 3–5 years of experience as a Process Engineer or similar role
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, structured problem solving (5 Whys, A3, etc.)
Ability to work cross‑functionally with production, quality, and maintenance
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a noisy, dusty, hot/cold industrial environment
Location On-site — Manufacturing environment
