Free People Sample and Showroom Coordinator
Free People is looking for a Sample and Showroom Coordinator to support daily showroom operations, sample management, and presentation standards. This role ensures the New York wholesale showroom is organized, market‑ready, and operating smoothly through on‑site management, daily inspections, and support for market appointments and key sales meetings. The Coordinator also provides administrative support, including invoice submission and tracking, to ensure efficient showroom operations.
Role Responsibilities
Assisting showroom coordinating in all showroom related duties and upkeep
Receiving, processing and maintaining organized sample sets
Maintaining NY Showroom presentation and standards
Maintaining NYSR security log with building
On‑site showroom management in NY, including daily floor inspections
Partner on pre/post market appointment set‑ups including but not limited to beverage & food set‑up
Sales Team support for markets and key appointments
Assisting with various administrative tasks related to showroom management including but not limited to invoice submission & tracking
Role Qualifications
0–2 years of experience in a fashion showroom, retail, styling, visual merchandising, or sales support role (internships welcomed)
Strong organizational skills with a sharp eye for detail and presentation
Interest in fashion, brands, and the wholesale/market process
Ability to maintain elevated showroom standards in a fast‑paced, client‑facing environment
Reliable, on‑site availability in NYC with the ability to manage daily showroom tasks independently
Strong communication skills and a professional, polished demeanor
Comfortable with light administrative tasks, including invoice submission and tracking
Proficiency in Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office
Ability to lift, move, and organize samples as needed
