Position Summary A Shift Supervisor supports the Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty through excellent customer service. When no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads store staff, ensures store operations run smoothly, and implements all opening and closing procedures.

Essential Functions

Manage store crew: supervise, assign, direct, and follow up on all activities; work collaboratively with store management and crews.

Communicate information between store management and crews.

Customer service: assist customers with questions, problems and complaints; promote a positive CVS customer service culture; maintain confidentiality.

Merchandise and presentation: price merchandise, stock shelves, execute displays and inventory for weekly, promotional and seasonal items; reset departments following POGs.

Required Qualifications

Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills and computer skills.

Advanced communication and supervision skills.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight and weekend shifts, overtime, and respond to urgent store issues.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience as a retail supervisor.

Education High School Diploma or Equivalent – Preferred but not required.

Anticipated Weekly Hours 27 hours

Time Type Part‑time

Pay Range $16.50 – $24.00 per hour
