Associate Vice President (AVP) – Orthopedics Service Line Administrator
Full-Time – Orlando, Central Florida region.
We seek a strategic, operationally savvy leader to shape a high-profile Orthopedics service line.
Primary Purpose As AVP of the Central Florida Orthopedics Service Line, you will be a key regional executive administrator accountable for operational excellence, financial performance, and strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities
Lead regional integration and excellence, advancing the Orthopedics Department into a unified, multi-divisional service line.
Drive financial and business operations: oversee budgets, resource planning, HR, billing, patient satisfaction, and research administration.
Strengthen patient access, experience, and outcomes through process improvement and collaboration with clinical leaders.
Advance innovation and program development, supporting new clinical, research, and translational programs aligned with strategic priorities.
Lead people & teams: manage staffing, compensation, mentorship, and alignment with values and accreditation.
Qualifications
7–10+ years in healthcare administration, ideally at a service line director/AVP level or higher.
Strong background in pediatric, orthopedic, or academic medical center environments.
Demonstrated success in strategic growth, financial stewardship, patient access improvement, and research support.
Experience operating within a large matrixed system with multiple executive stakeholders.
Strategic, financial, operational, data‑driven, collaborative, diplomatic, and highly communicative leader.
