Position: Class A CDL Liquid Tanker Regional Driver
Location: St. Louis, MO
Hiring Area: 35-70 mile radius of St. Louis, MO
Freight Type: Liquid Tanker
Route Details: Lanes – Regional, primarily Midwest; Average Miles: 2,200–2,500/week
Schedule: 7–10 days out or 10–14 days out
Home Time: 34 hour reset when at home
Description: General chemical liquid tanker regional freight. Freight: General chemical. Hazmat, liquid in bulk
Equipment: Manual and automatic transmissions (2019 and newer). Makes: Mack, Volvo, International
Truck Speed: Cruise 68 MPH, Pedal 65 MPH
Parking: Ops approved location
Requirements & Endorsements Average Pay: $1,200–$1,800 per week
Specific Requirements: Tanker required, Hazmat required, TWIC required, Valid Passport (preferred), Minimum of 6 months of previous liquid experience or 24 months of recent verifiable tractor-trailer experience
Orientation & Training
Online Orientation & Drug Screening: 2.5–3 hours (31/32 online tasks including CDL/Medical Card/SS card upload, BTC policies review, Recurrent HM Training Videos)
Online Orientation Completion Pay: $200 (on 1st check Friday/week following hire)
Onsite Training: 5 days at Jacksonville, FL (dry bulk) or Fenton, MO (liquid) – $120/day • 1.5–2 days classroom • Standard driver road test • Introduction to pneumatic or liquid tank equipment
Road Training: Dry Bulk: 5–7 days at home terminal – $120/day
Liquid (with 6+ months liquid experience): 1 week – Week 1 $120/day, Week 2 $200/day
Liquid (no previous liquid experience): 2 weeks – Week 1 $120/day, Week 2 $200/day
Lodging: Single occupancy at Route 66 or Drury Inn (Fenton, MO) or Microtel (Jacksonville, FL)
Meals: Breakfast and Lunch provided during onsite training
Travel: Plane or car rental reimbursed
Pay & Benefits
Pay Type: Practical miles
Pay Frequency: Weekly every Friday via Direct Deposit
Annual Pay Increase: Yes
Detention Pay: $5.00 per hour after 2 hours
Per Diem: Optional 0.14/mile (weekly miles)
Referral Bonus: $1,500 ($750 at hire, $750 at 90 days)
Benefits: BCBS health insurance starts 1st of month following 60 days from hire; VSP Vision
Vacation: 1 week after 1 year (calculated on 52-week average)

Safety & Conduct: No more than 3 moving violations in past 3 years; No more than 6 jobs in past 3 years; No DOT recordable accidents in last year; No major moving violations in past 6 months (Careless/Reckless, 15+ Over, Handheld texting/calling, Following too close, Failure to stop at RR crossing, Driving CMV without CDL); No more than 2 DUIs in lifetime, 1st must be over 5 years old; No felonies in past 7 years, no lifetime violent/sexual offenses; No current probation or parole; No pets or passengers
