Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

Responsibilities

State-of-the-art facility with a 70-bed, Level‑III NICU

The health system has two facilities and 7,000 deliveries per year

Cape Coral Hospital provides a Level‑I low‑risk delivery service

Primary responsibilities include providing attending coverage at our Level‑III NICU

All subspecialty services available (except cardiovascular surgery and ECMO) and high‑risk delivery service coverage

In‑house call and 24‑hour NNP coverage

Level‑I coverage includes well‑baby care and back‑up coverage from home

Team of 10 neonatologists and 10 NNPs

We value a team‑approach toward care in a developmentally sensitive and family‑centered unit

Qualifications

Current APRN national specialty certification as an NNP

Minimum of a master’s degree
