With over 99 hotels in 38 countries, Four Seasons is dedicated to perfecting the travel experience through continual innovation and the highest standards of hospitality.The deeply instilled Four Seasons culture is personified by its employees – people who share a single focus and are inspired to offer great service.**About the position**The Bartender provides hotel guests and servers with quick and efficient beverage service with a complete working knowledge of all products served by the bar.As Bartender, you should be able to:- Recognize regular guests and to greet them by their name.- Offer guests of the bar an enjoyable, expertly served beverage/dining experience conforming to Four Seasons standards of excellence for quality, professionalism and friendliness.- Ensure that all details of service are performed properly and that every guest receives the highest quality of service.- Ascertain a guest's satisfaction and handle any problem which may arise informing a manager of the problem and how it was resolved.- Develop a complete working knowledge of all products served by the bar, i.e. liquors, wines, beers, ports, armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs, specialty drinks, etc.- Stock the bar areas with liquor, wine, beer, juices, soft drinks, glassware and condiment- Develop a complete working knowledge of the menu items and their ingredients and preparation.- Utilize the hotel's computer system ringing up sales, printing checks, closing checks and completing closing readings.**Preferred Qualifications and Skills*** Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.* Great knowledge in Wine, Cocktail and Liquor* Must be able to work all shifts including, AM's, PM's, weekends, and holidays.* Able to stand and walk up to 8 hours or more.* Able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.* Push/pull cart to pool bar**What to Expect*** Competitive Salary & Wages* Medical, Dental and Vision insurance* 401(k) Retirement Plan* Excellent Training and Development opportunities* Complimentary Accommodation at other Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts\*\*US work authorization is required.Four Seasons is an Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action employer.
