Lead MST Coach
Full‑time, 35‑hour per week, non‑exempt, Monday–Friday with evenings as needed.
Education: MSW or mental health degree in a relevant field, required with 2‑years of professional experience, including knowledge of child welfare and at‑risk youth. Former case management experience is a plus. Valid NYS driver’s license required.
The Lead MST‑FIT Coach provides supervision over MST Coaches who conduct case management and administrative duties to support youth’s transition to independence using the MST‑FIT evidence‑based model. The Lead Coach coordinates resources, ensures compliance with ACA, OCFS, and state regulations, and works closely with stakeholders.
Carry clinical and administrative supervisory responsibilities for 1 MST‑FIT team of 2 therapists.
Conduct weekly group supervision and training to assure adherence to MST principles and analytic process, and clinician competency.
Provide individual supervision to target competency needs and remove barriers to effective implementation.
Ensure availability of clinical and administrative support to clinicians 24 h/7 d.
Collaborate with community and agency stakeholders.
Promote and educate about MST to internal and external stakeholders.
Generate and manage case referrals and clinician caseloads.
Collaborate with MST Expert to implement MST and develop own clinical skills and knowledge of research.
Participate in weekly interdisciplinary treatment team meetings, case conferences, department meetings, and program events.
Manage and report data on clinical outcomes and program practices.
Work comfortably with a diverse client community.
Understand family types in the community.
Engage primary caregivers, family members, supports, and community agency staff in change‑oriented treatment.
Dedicate time to weekly case planning and evaluation of progress with support.
Receive regular training, professional development, supervision, and consultation to acquire extensive clinical skills within the MST treatment model.
Assure clients have access to 24 h/7 d support as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Salary Range: $52,000.00 – $57,000.00 annually.
Location: New York, NY.
