Job Overview In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely availability of materials, supplies, and services necessary for operations, while maintaining strict control over costs, deadlines, and quality. Your mission is to sustain our client's supply flow in an efficient and traceable manner, acting as a point of connection between suppliers, warehouses, transportation, and finance. They are looking for an experienced purchasing and logistics professional with an analytical mindset and a strong sense of order. You must understand the entire process—from requirements planning to warehouse receipt—and be able to optimize it based on cost, reliability, and traceability criteria in SAP. This is not an administrative role, but a management one: you control the pulse of the supply chain.

Coordinate with warehouses and suppliers to ensure on‑time delivery and quality.

Analyze inventory levels and activate replenishments based on consumption, turnover, and forecasts.

Monitor and optimize transportation and auxiliary material costs associated with purchases.

Negotiate terms with suppliers and carriers, seeking a balance between cost, service, and stability.

Validate goods receipts and invoices (GR/IR) with Finance, ensuring full traceability.

Document quality or service incidents and propose corrective actions.

Actively participate in improving procurement processes and controlling operating costs.

Desired Skills & Experience

Solid experience in Procurement and/or Supply Chain, preferably in industrial or construction materials environments.

Proficiency in SAP MM and knowledge of integration with FI/SD.

Negotiation skills, cost analysis, and logistics planning.

Documentary discipline and focus on accuracy.

Proactive, communicative, and decisive approach.

5 to 8 years of experience in purchasing or logistics.

While not required, a degree in supply chain, administration, engineering, or related fields would be ideal.

Knowledge of ground transportation, 3PL, and inventory management.

Stable, responsible profile with the ability to work in demanding environments.

Key Performance Goals During the first 3 months, you must master purchasing and receiving flows in SAP, ensure the traceability of each order, and achieve fluid communication with suppliers and warehouses. In 6 months, you must have implemented a predictable purchasing planning system, with control of logistics costs and a measurable reduction in incidents and emergencies.

Compensation Salary range: $75k–$95k.
