General Summary
Responsible for operationalizing nursing education across all sites to support consistent orientation, competency validation, and clinical practice.
This role focuses on implementation, coordination, and facilitation of standardized nursing education programs developed at the system level.
Collaborates with leaders and educators across hospitals to ensure smooth adoption of system workflows, tools and learning content.
Supports clinical practice improvements by delivering education, tracking learner progress, and escalating trends that require curriculum or process changes.
Serves as a system resource for frontline education execution and onboarding excellence.
INTERNAL CANDIDATES MUST APPLY WITH INTERNAL PROFILE
Education / Experience Required
Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
Minimum of four (4) years of experience in training and education, educational design, and delivery.
Experience facilitating courses and creating training materials.
Knowledge and understanding of adult learning principles, and of a wide range of training methods, techniques, and formats.
Must be self-directed, proactive, and able to work independently.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
Certifications / Licenses Required
Current Michigan RN licensure required, or ability to obtain Michigan licensure.
