Primary Job Duties The Manager Pilot Training Coordination provides leadership and support to the Pilot Training Coordinators and Flight Operations Training. Responsible for scheduling process with Instructors, simulator companies, Federal Aviation Administration, Pilots and Flight Operations Leadership.
As manager, your responsibilities will be to ensure that all assigned tasks and duties are being completed by you and your team meeting the deadlines and requirements as determined by the training operation.
Coordinate with Flight Operations Training Managers and Chief Instructors to determine monthly training requirements
Responsible for readiness and supplies for:
Classrooms
Briefing Rooms
Matrix and PT device rooms
Instructor offices
Manage rostering tools and maintain changes and requirements as needs are communicated from the Crew Planning team
Project training needs in terms of classrooms and assist in instructor staffing needs
Participate in situational reviews and interpretation of rules and requirements
Review and develop processes as necessary
Create reports as necessary in Excel and other programs
Coordinate and establish pilot training coordinator schedules
Manage all Flight Operations training requirements and reports associated with CBT’s
Manage all pilot uniform requirements including available options, allotments, ordering, payroll deductions, and payables processing
Manage and organize instructor meetings throughout the year as determined by the Flight Operations leadership
Coordinate with InFlight on scheduling for Training Devices in SLC and DEN
Manage and maintain instructor tracking, qualifications, and notifications regarding status and evaluations required
Work with other managers within the training coordination team to ensure that crossover areas are communicated and changes completed.
Other duties as assigned by Senior Manager
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma/GED
1 year minimum experience with coordinating and planning Pilot Training
Proficient in MS Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams
Ability to learn all pilot training software
Flexibility in schedule to work overtime as needed to meet deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional customer service skills
Self-motivated, team player
Ability to work under tight time constraints and adapt to change quickly and positively
Experience/understanding of Crew Scheduling software and utilization of partner systems preferred
Experiencing leading/managing a team
Physical and Other Requirements
This position requires being based in either Denver, CO or Salt Lake City, UT
Salary will be $55-65,000 based on experience
Extended sitting, and periodic standing, lifting and bending
