Construction Services Project Manager - (186738)
HDR is looking for a Construction Services Project Manager with a technical background in water / wastewater treatment plant, pump station, and pipeline construction to join our Water Business Group in Raleigh, Charlotte, Asheville, Wilmington, or Winston-Salem, NC. They will be responsible for performing constructability reviews of project designs and leading projects during the construction administration phase. Project types could include water and wastewater treatment plants, water transmission pipelines, water pump stations, wastewater collection systems, wastewater pump stations and related infrastructure projects. They must be skilled in construction administration phase services coordination and management as a consulting engineer, coordinating with contractors, sub-consultants, and utility owners, coordinating technical specifications and design drawings with the design and construction team, and performing office and field services during construction. They will also be expected to direct construction administration services staff and perform client management activities to support our North Carolina Area-based Water / Wastewater team.

Responsibilities
Perform constructability reviews of project designs and lead projects during the construction administration phase.
Coordinate with contractors, sub-consultants, and utility owners; manage coordination of technical specifications and design drawings with the design and construction team.
Provide office and field services during construction and direct construction administration services staff.
Manage client relationships and activities to support the North Carolina Area-based Water / Wastewater team.
Qualifications Preferred Qualifications
PE or ability to obtain in North Carolina within 6 months preferred but not required
Experience in the construction and / or design area
Experience with water/wastewater projects primarily focused on treatment plants, pump stations and pipelines
Excellent communication skills and thrive working in a team environment
Local candidates are preferred

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Construction Science or closely related field or equivalent work experience
A minimum of 2 years of experience in various aspects of construction planning and management, including field engineering, construction submittals, estimating, scheduling, and site safety
Experience with Microsoft Office
Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Prolog, Primavera, Bluebeam, etc.
