36-40 hours of classroom instruction. Pass all classroom tests with a minimum score of 80%. Each student has 3 attempts. Students who do not pass the classroom phase will not be placed into clinicals. Clinical Practicum
75 hours of supervised practicum in a long‑term care facility. First 16 hours with the class instructor; absence excused from program. Work with a preceptor for organization and time management. Skill checklists (RCP) signed off by the clinical instructor; completed checklist submitted at program completion. Daily clinical sign‑in record completed and signed by a licensed professional. Additional Information
Students must pass a criminal background check, TB test, and physical prior to starting the course. Attendance to all classroom sessions is mandatory; unsatisfactory performance or attendance may result in dismissal. Dress code requirements are supplied by the facility. Certification and Test
Upon successful completion, students receive a certificate of completion, scheduled test date, and test fee paid by Miller's if hired and in good standing as an employee. If not an employee, the certificate is given to schedule the test at your own expense. Seniority level
