Description Job Overview The Warehouse Associate shall act as the receiving/warehouse agent on behalf of Wind Creek Hospitality and is responsible for accurate inventory accounting and the enforcement of Internal Controls, departmental policies and procedures, and Illinois Gaming Regulations. The Warehouse Associate will receive items/product for the property, deliver them to the appropriate department, and properly record and account for those items. The Warehouse Associate shall assist in inventory counts as needed and will ensure the warehouse is kept clean and orderly at all times.

Duties and Responsibilities

Verifies and keeps records of incoming and outgoing shipments; Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records

Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper, purchasing department and Finance to rectify damages and shortages; Routes and delivers items to departments/appropriate storage locations in a timely and efficient fashion

Operates tier-lift truck, fork lift or use hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping-and-receiving platform to storage or work area; May direct others in preparing outgoing and receiving incoming shipments

Assigns bar codes/item numbers/date stickers to all merchandise received

Responsible for processing merchandise receipts, requisitions, and transfers in computerized system

Responsible for the maintenance and filing of documentation supporting Shipping and Receiving transactions

Processes requisitions, transfers and prepares fill orders for distribution

Adheres to warehouse standard operating procedure manual for warehouse department

Monitors inventory levels to achieve appropriate stock levels and ordering schedules

Performs daily recaps and generates assigned reports

Takes part in daily, cycle, and month end inventory

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying)

High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within 6 months from start date as a condition of continued employment

Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older

One (1) year related warehouse/receiving experience; Knowledge of receiving and storage functions-

preferred

Experience with computerized inventory/purchasing systems -

preferred

Must have and maintain valid state-issued operator driver’s license

required

Ability to use all equipment associated with the position including manual and powered pallet jack, fork lift, hand truck, cart, and electronic scale. Fork lift certification must be completed within 60 days from hire date

Must have willingness and ability to work in an environment to which the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts, loud noise levels, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme temperature changes (freezers, coolers, etc) and outside weather changes

Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while observing all safety rules and standards

Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and carry out work duties with moderate supervision

Basic math skills; Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to convert units

Ability to stand for extended period of times and climb ladders

Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required

Must have an Occupational License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) pursuant to the Illinois Gaming Act and remain in good standing with the Illinois Gaming Board as a requirement for this position.

Base Pay

Pay range - $15.00 - $18.75 (The base pay will depend on factors such as experience level and skillset.)
