eCommerce Merchandising Manager
WeatherTech Direct, LLC is seeking an eCommerce Merchandising Manager to drive online revenue and customer engagement through strategic product presentation, merchandising execution, and ongoing optimization of the digital shopping experience. This role owns how products are organized, promoted, and surfaced across our company eCommerce websites, ensuring the right products reach the right customers at the right time.
Responsibilities
Ensure accurate product setup, pricing, promotions, and content across all our websites
Develop and execute eCommerce merchandising strategies aligned with sales, marketing team, trends, and leadership goals
Create upsell and cross‑sell strategies within established UX frameworks and recommendation modules
Own product categorization, website taxonomy, collections, navigation, and filtering
Manage homepage, category, and promotional merchandising calendars and placements
Partner with marketing, product, and customer service to plan product launches, promotions and seasonal campaigns
Review website performance, customer behavior, and merchandising KPIs to identify optimization opportunities
Optimize product detail pages (PDPs) including content, imagery, pricing, and recommendations
Partner with the Digital Optimization and Experimentation teams to execute and support A/B tests related to merchandising layouts, product presentation, and onsite merchandising strategies
Leverage analytics and performance insights provided by Optimization and Analytics partners to inform merchandising decisions
Setup and execute internal employee discounts and partner discount programs
Stay current on eCommerce trends, competitive landscape, and best practices
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in eCommerce merchandising, digital merchandising, online retail or a related field
Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring team members
Proven track record of driving revenue, conversion rate, and average order value improvements
Hands‑on experience with eCommerce platforms (e.g., Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce)
Deep understanding of customer journeys, merchandising funnels, and on‑site optimization
Excellent understanding of website usability and best practices
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience
Working knowledge of web technologies and creative tools sufficient to collaborate effectively with UX and content teams
Strong writing, copyediting, and proofreading skills to support onsite merchandising content
Self‑starter and self‑motivated to seek out and implement changes that benefit the company
Must be authorized to work in the United States
